My Inspiration & Process: The things I come into contact with in current culture, music and fashion are combined with my loves for drawing the figure, pattern and light, but IT ALL STARTS WITH THE PHOTOGRAPH(s) and how I identify with the persons in them at any given moment. I am somewhat of an image or source collector of photographs taken at parties and other social events. Some paintings are of one figure from one photograph, but a lot of them are culminations of several different photographs where I like to create my own atmosphere or narrative and the let the figures “talk” to one another.
